I have tried several hotels in the vicinity of Hook, including other De-Vere, the Raven and Barcello. This is by far the best value for money and the nicest hotel experience. Staff are accommodating and remember you if you stay there frequently. Food is of a good standard in the restaurant, which has a typically hotel price menu, or a... more

Didn't know what to expect as only paid £19 for the room through one of the special offers the DeVere Venues website seems to constantly have. Was a bit more concerned when reception almost apolagetically advised me, I was actually staying in The Grange away from the main house. I shouldn't have worried as 100 yard drive away was a... more

My wife and I stayed here for one night as part of a DeVere tour. The hotel grounds are gorgeous, the security seems excellent and check-in was quick and easy. The room was in the Grange, which was obviously the IBM conference centre. The room was well appointed, had all amenities you would expect from a DeVere, but is a... more

We booked a premium room on a weekend offer rate. On De Vere website and our reservation print out clearly states all premium rooms are in the main house, but we were put in the conference block down the road which is more like a travel lodge. We weren't the only people this happened too so don't book expecting to... more

the rooms was lovely and I understand it was one of the nicest rooms they have so I really happy about that. The venue is really nice and well looked after. The grounds are fantastic and the facilities are good and our overall experience was really good. I had a wonder around and they really have a nice place. But... more

Just returned from a1 night stay at this lovely hotel @ the bargain rate of a tenner - Bank Hol. Sunday. This hotel is a credit to the De Vere group - friendly staff (good standards of housekeeping), extensive well maintained gardens, tastey, well cooked breakfast and dinner @ £15 for two courses. Complementary coffees and tea in lovely lounge... more

We also stayed over the Easter bank hols for 2 nights (Sun & Mon) at £10 per night. What a bargain. The room in the Main House was nicely decorated (and yes warm!). Our only gripe was the szie of the bathroom - tiny. We had a corner shower and my partner being 6ft 2" could just about fit in!... more

Stayed here over Easter Weekend, got an amazing offer of £10 per room per night through De Vere Website. Have stayed at another De Vere in Daventry and wasn't very impressed by it so was dubious about this one but at £10 a night what can you possibly expect?! The Warbrook Grange was a pleasant suprise! The house and grounds... more

I stayed at this hotel for just one night with business colleagues in Mar 09. Clearly a substantial former country residence, the hotel stands in parkland well away from the nearest village. With masses of parking, I assume the place is popular for conferences and social functions. The hotel has been extended beyond the original house. The Reception staff were... more

Stayed at Warbrook House Jan 09, room 31 in main house next to reception. Very noisy room with door constantly banging outside room to reception, cars constantly pulling up right outside my window as room at the front next to the drop off point. A disco was then set up opposite room 31 where there is a lounge! Dont stay... more
