Petersfield has several B+Bs, but most have one or two rooms. 1 The Spain was the only one that could accomodate a larger group and so, for us, became a choice of one (if you discount the chain hotels). We were very pleased then to find it matching our needs so perfectly. Our dealings with the landlady were all superb, very friendly and professional. The street (The Spain) is just away from the town centre, at perfect distance. We were going to a wedding at The Tithe Barn, as quite a few visitors to Petersfield may be. 1 The Spain has a communal sitting area separate to the landlady's family area, which allowed us to sleep in our separate bedrooms, and then relax together reading the Sunday papers etc. There is a kitchenette area, if you wish, though the coffee shops/supermarket are just a short step away. The furnishing is all tasteful, good wall hangings and the rooms are well appointed. Only slight concern may be parking which is by arrangement. more
