I would recommend Langrish House to anyone. I had my wedding at Langrish House on 7 November and it was really lovely. All of our guests commented on how excellent the food was. We had celeriac soup to start, which was not on their wedding menu, I requested this specially. It was the best soup I had ever had. For... more

We spent one night in early October at this charming family owned country house hotel built in Cromwell's time. Our room, on the second floor, was very comfortable and simply but well furnished, the bathroom spotless, warm with lots of hot water. We had drinks in a small sitting room (which we had all to ourselves) with deep comfortable chairs... more

We booked the Honeymoon Suite for our last night in the UK to celebrate our anniversary. For the first couple of hours after our arrival, we were quite impressed with the beauty and history of the house, along with the comfort of our room. As we were getting ready for dinner, I noticed that the toilet tank was not filling... more

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a lovely time. The hotel is very old but has lots of character. Unfortunately we arrived just as a funeral wake was taking place so the staff were somewhat preoccupied. Our request for an afternoon tea was met with a "what now?" which made us feel we were in the way somewhat!... more

We were treated to a wonderful warm service from the moment we arrived. It had a real family run atmosphere. The location is both beautiful and peaceful and the view from our cosy bedroom were charming. Dinner was superb, with just the right variety of interesting dishes on the menu. We'd have chosen everything on it, if only we'd had... more

We stayed one night with our daughter in two double rooms, both of which were furnished beautifully in lovely 'country house' style, and both enjoying wonderful views of the grounds. My only complaint was that our room was very cold. We mentioned this at reception and were told that the heating would be turned on, but it wasn't. I discovered... more

My brother had his wedding reception here and we decided to book the family room with our 2 kids. The staff were VERY helpfull. As soon as your plate or glass were empty they were there to fill it up or take it away!! Our food was lovely and they catered well for the kids. Breakfast was buffett style cooked... more

'Wow' factor coming through the gates leading to the house followed by a sign warning us of chickens! I just knew we had come to the perfect place. We received a very warm and friendly welcome and the traditionally furnished bedroom ensuite was clean and very comfortable with lovely views of the garden and beyond. The gardens are tranquil, service... more

We stayed here for 24 hours and did not want to leave. Lovely hotel with bags of character and with many thoughtful little touches that separate Langrish House from any run of the mill chain hotel. Grounds are stunning and beautifully maintained. Loved the chickens and other animals – how fantastic! Dinner and breakfast were of the highest quality. Highly... more

We chanced upon the hotel while we were driving along the A 272 looking for somewhere to stay. The hotel was very busy with a wedding but nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they could not have been more helpful and we were lucky to be given the last available room. It was up a lot of stairs... more
