We stayed overnight on our way to the Isle of Wight. Very reasonably priced . this place delivers more than the basic . All the staff are friendly and hard working. on a cold wet night we decided to eat in and were not disappointed. The bed and bedding were very comfortable and the breakfast delicious.

Lovely little 3 star country hotel with all you could ask for and at great rates. If you're a beer drinker, it's a pity it's owned by Greene King, but there are a couple of really good real-ale pubs close-by. Right in the centre of the village, on a main street by River Test lined with nice independent shops, a few pubs and cafes. Well-maintained old hotel - my single room was not ready when I arrived, so I was upgraded for free to a superior room - very nice! Helpful and professionally run. Good breakfast!

I love Stockbridge and have driven through it many times over the years, and vowed to stay at the Grosvenor. My daughter is getting married in June, so we decided to have a mother and daughter break. We had our 2nd visit to the Grosvenor last weekend which was another enjoyable stay. Location is good, and parking is easy and free (some at the front of the hotel, and some in the car park at the back) Stockbridge has lots of nice little shops to browse in too.
