Stayed here for 2 nights and had a lovely stay. Room was great with huge bed and separate seating area. Comfortable & clean. Large breakfast with plenty of choice. We ate in the hotel one evening & was very pleased with the selection & quality.

The staff at the Stag are the friendliest I have come across in a hotel for a long time. They could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Just a one night stay but it was a lovely experience, great place to stay and I would not hesitate to return.

Hotel was very nice ... It was nice to see families using the hotel as well, the staff were very helpful to us and gave us as much help as we needed.. The food was very nice we had steak and that was cooked like we like.We are going to use this place again as we felt at home there.

This hotel is right in the heart of Lyndhurst so great for local restaurants and pubs. We had a friendly and efficient welcome from the staff. Had lunch here today and food was very nice, arrived piping hot and well presented, although sauces were a bit heavy and salty for my taste but that is just a personal thing probably. Staff were very nice and friendly. Good atmosphere.

Stayed here for just one night. The Staff welcome was excellent. Our booked room (5) was not available because the night previous there was a lightning strike! Our allocated room (4) was O.K.
