Room was ok, but table of chipboard needs work on. Have seen that in other Travelodges as well. For the rest it all worked. The reception guy got me checked in in 30 seconds! The Little chef next door has frew wifi, so that was good this time. The only plus point of a little chef I guess. more

Travelodges as everybody knows are all the same internally and this was no exception, clean, tidy, cheap and basic but with everything you need for an overnight stay. This one however i must say was that bit better and the two reasons were staff and location. On arrival the receptionist was very helpful and accomodating as were all the other... more

Hotel as expected. Service from desk staff was good, nothing to much trouble to do. Only real complaint was the road noise which was loud. However the value £19 in the sale almost made up for this more

Quite a small place right on the A31. Tiny reception area with a vending machine. Was told all I needed to know by a young man who really didn't seem to be terribly interested. I had room 4, ground floor. Window was no more than 8 feet away from the road. I am used to traffic noise so it didn't... more

We were given room 7 at the end of an unheated corridor on the ground floor with a fire exit very close by. The bedroom was below average and desperately needed a makeover. The ensuite however was virtually uninhabitable. Bearing in mind the outside temperatures, not much above freezing and with snow on the ground, the ensuite had NO heating.... more

We booked this as a £19 a night deal - bargain. We've stayed in quite a few Travelodges on cheap weekend deals and this one is one of the better ones. Maybe newly refurbished we had a 1st floor room with a big bay window (room 107 or 109 I think.. not sure) but it was a very big room... more

Easy to get to hotel in New Forest, although beware that access is NOT available form the Eastbound A31 without going upto next roundabout (Cadnam) and back. Hotel is VERY close to incredibly busy A31, traffic noise constant feature of room on the road side. Only primary double glazing, and appears that the old secondary and tertiary glazing has been... more

Good all-round Travelodge, clean (recently refurbished?) rooms. Be aware that you are very near the main road, try and get a room overlooking the car park at the back if possible. Little Chef & petrol station next door if desperate...! more
