The slightly noisy setting is really the only downside of this wonderful place, where we have just returned from spending an afternoon, evening, night and morning along with all our extended family. Simon and Cherry are simply the most hospitable people possible and they open their home generously and fully to their guests, even dogs (there are 2 dogs and 2 cats there too) and young children (they have cots). The quality of rooms is excellent, even with a completely self-contained family garden annexe, with kitchenette, where we stayed. We enjoyed an excellent buffet supper, not to mention a special cooked tea for the 6 children and a fabulous breakfast with all the trimmings. Do not be put off by the location, the house is lovely, as are gardens and this place cannot be recommended highly enough. Go, stay and enjoy! more
