We had planned to stay nearer to Beaulieu, but the web-reviews of this B&B were so good, that we decided to stay at Moortown Lodge in Ringwood. The B&B was very clean. Breakfast was very good. Eveything was as we expected. There are plenty of places to eat in Ringwood, all within ( our ) walking distance: Mrs Meredith gave... more

We found this small hotel via the Internet and on arrival were pleasantly surprised to find that it had an AA 5-star (Highly Commended) rating as well as being recommended in the Michelin guide. It is an old Georgian hunting lodge, situated on the B3347, running South from Ringwood, and only a few minutes drive out of town. The hotel... more

we stayed for 3 nights in this fabulous B&B. It was immaculate. The room was beautiful with every amenity we could wish for, the breakfast was excellent and a perfect locatin for the New Forest. The Merediths couldn't have made us feel more welcome, and were so helpful. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to all. more

I stayed for two nights before a weekend and three after it. I, therefore, had two different rooms. The first was smaller - though with plenty of storage space - and the second was very spacious with a lovely bathroom. Both rooms were very well decorated and spotlessly clean with a well stocked tea/coffee tray and flat screen tv. It... more

My husband booked one of the smaller rooms for a Valentine's break away. Although Moortown Lodge doesn't look as inviting as some of the little black and white cottages we drove past, we received a really warm welcome, and the owner and his wife were both really helpful when we asked them for advice on what to see in the... more

We stayed at the Moortown Lodge hotel in Sept 2007. We had "the romantice four poster room". The room was pleasantly furnished and the welcome tray was very nice. The bed looked far too big for the room (which faced onto a very busy main road)and the bathroom was a tiny shower room. There was no lounge downstairs to speak... more

We stayed at the Moortown Lodge Hotel in March on buisness, we had two double rooms and a twin. The rooms were clean and tidy, my room right at the front of the house was ok, although a little noise in the morning as it's straight onto a main road. This is not a HOTEL, but a B&B. Weirdly we... more

We stayed at the Moortown Lodge Hotel in Feb having found its details on Laterooms, where it was described as a four star hotel. We then looked at their own website and they advertise themselves as a 4* luxury hotel. They are not! Though it is a very nice guesthouse, that is what it is. It is a four diamond... more
