I cannot comment on the White Buck as a hotel, but we are local and come here for the excellent food. The surroundings are lovely, and we often go for a walk through the forest , finishing up here. Wonderful location within the New Forest, great for walking, local golf course. Stayed in a luxury double which was excellent (the room was more than large enough to cope with a very comfortable sofa bed for the kids). Food great, much locally sourced, fish specials wonderful. What a delightful establishment. My room on the top floor was newly refurbished and decorated to a very high standard, The bathroom was excellent with a superb shower.
