What a refreshing change from the corporate chains! I had the fortune to be doing some business locally and stayed here for a night. Delightful, friendly staff and good food. I stayed here and although the room required some updating, I understand the new owners (of a few weeks) have plans to refurbish all rooms. The food, however, was the main selling point here. Dinner at the Falcon, courtesy of the young chef, was a delight: delicate without being fussy and visually appealing too. Thoroughly recommended. more
