We have just returned from a two night stay at the Ramada and fell that the property is very tired and in desperate need of a refurbishment. The hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are very good and plentiful. We did not have dinner in the hotel but on viewing the the menu... more

Stayed here last week as I got a good price on Late Rooms, nice rooms good location only 5 minutes from work in Hemel. Ordered room service first night which was fine (no tray charge which makes a nice change) and ate in the bar the second night which was good as they had Setanta Sports which meant I could... more

Rooms quite nice - became warm at night - had a portable air-con that was not plugged in for some reason. Didn't notice the noise , don't think that the hotel was full. Bath had amazing sink they sprayed water everywhere! Staff very friendly and helpful. more

Stayed in Ramada 5 time during last year and a half, my company use this hotel. Every single time it is a same story. Generaly a very nice room (sometimes some problems with cleanlines in bathrroms), nice decor, good bed quality, nice amenity kit, great staff, hearty breakfast. BUT, the only problem this hotel has got is a noise level.... more

Checked in on company business and really only expected the bog standard corporate standard, however the check in staff were very nice and cheerful, the room was a good size, free WIFI in the bar was nice, only ate in the bar but the food was first class. Company paid so don't know how much it cost but if you... more

Stayed there for a total of 3 weeks for business purposes (so no choice) in Sept. 2007. I had a room which was in the furthest block from reception, a good 10-minutes walk through a maze of pre-fabricated corridors and alleys with ugly, dirty multicolor carpets (why they put carpets everywhere in the UK is a mistery). This hotel was... more

I have had to stay at this hotel many times for business, and I try to avoid it whenever I can. The worst about this hotel is that rooms can be very noisy. This is because it is next to a busy motorway (M1) with ongoing roadworks until end 2008. In addition, the hotel was built a while ago and... more

I stayed at the Ramada for one night on business. My room was lovely with flat screen TV and a walk in shower but it did take me some time to get to it - the rabbit warren of corridors is an excellent description for this hotel! The service at check in and check out were abysmal, they had one... more

I stay regulary in the area on business and this Hotel is by far the best. The bedrooms are of a very good standard after being recently refurbished. The service and food is excellent and the staff are always welcoming and attentive. Very good value for money more
