Receptionist very friendly and efficient. Parking no problem. Room was basic but clean and well aired. Superb value at £36 for a family room. Location is strange and the weird roundabout nearby makes getting there a little bit of a challenge. more

Arrived 9.30 pm after 3 hour journey, part of which was spent trying to find the place because of roadworks and that blasted roundabout which we must have been round about 10 times! Parked out front and then had to move and park round the back, only two spaces left, one of which was disabled and was told to use... more

After having a problem finding this hotel, (partly due to road works and road closure) we arrived and parked in the free car park behind the main building. The staff were really freindly and provided us with extra pillows and towels when asked. The room was clean and recently redecorated. We paid the full rate as we only decided to... more

Don´t understand why people complain about this Travelodge. We arrived about 1600, no probs getting a parking space, though I do see the problem for those arriving later. Anyhow, still no fees for parking unlike some other Travelodges. Room was clean! As an Executive Head Housekeeper I regularly change rooms until I am happy, but this was the only Travelodge... more

This was a very bad experience. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. There was no welcome, just pure hostility on arrival from the rotweiller of a receptionist on duty - as we wanted to check in one hour early , after a five hour drive, and objected to paying £10 for the privilege, despite the fact the room... more

In a very good location tucked behind Marlowes Shopping Centre (had the piped music from the car park drifting across through the small gap I could open the window from 10am today which was quite funny) Only the odd car at night but apart from that completely dead as you'd expect on an industrial estate. Room could have been hoovered... more

Good god - what a hole..... I have stayed in all sorts of budget hotels but, if I was the owner of Travellodge, I would look to rebrand it as it was much worse than their standard offering and possibly the worst that I have ever stayed in I booked a "Family Room" with a colleague as was on a... more

Contrary to some of the reviews, this hotel was clean and functional. It provided me with what I was expecting.....a functional stay over before flying out from London Luton the next day. I paid an amazing £19 for my stay. No you don't get breakfast but for that price you can't expect one. The staff were polite when checking me... more

We used this place seven years ago and it was fine, so we decided to use it again in October 2008 when visiting relatives. To say it has gone downhill is putting it mildly, Staff smoking at the entrance to the reception, grubby elevator, shabby rooms and the ceiling damaged in the bathroom. We complained about our shower because the... more

Stayed in this hotel because, quite frankly, they had the £26 offer. Now, we can only expect so much for that price, so to be fair, despite the lack of air conditioning, with windows that don't open, the dirty bathroom and torn furnishings; it wasn't the worse hotel I have ever stayed in. But the room rate is £60 as... more
