ok we have returned from 2 day stay from Pendely, and once again, we very much enjoyed ourselves. Rooms were lovely, bed was fabulous! we were positioned at the front of the hotel this time, lovely peacocks! lol staff were lovely and friendly, food was very very nice. The grounds, once again, were lovely. This hotel is a lovely secluded... more
We were very disappointed with the whole experience, the hotel was obviously quiet yet we were given a room overlooking the car park. The bed was rock hard, the most uncomfortable we have ever slept on and we heard other people say the same. The bar drinks were very expensive and a charge for tap water was £1.75. Next morning at... more
My Mother-in-Law and myself have just spent a fantastic 2 days at this Hotel. The Hotel itself is beautiful and in a lovely setting. The food was amazing, both breakfast and evening meals. Staff were corteous and polite at all times. I would definately recommend this hotel and will be using it again, when possible. more
We have just used Pendley Manor for our daughter's 21st birthday celebration for about 30 family members. We had an exceptional evening! The person we contacted to organise the meal was very helpful, and on the night itself the staff were very efficient. Everything went smoothly and even though there was at least a wedding party and one other birthday... more
My business partner has selected Pendley Manor for a short 1-night stay. Normally I wait writing a review until I leave the hotel, to give them the full chance - but not this time! Entering the hotel, checking in, walking through the hotel, using the lift and entring the room had been enough to judge this "hotel". When you enter... more
Pendley Manor turned out to be a real gem. With nearly, 40 years experience, staying in hotels worldwide, many as a food service exec, my expectations of even the best hotels are modest. From the perfect breakfast toast and tea, with fluffy, scrambled eggs, through to the quality of the linen, I couldn’t find a fault. Forced to stay at... more
Having read both the good and bad reviews, we decided to book a stay for one night at the Pendley Manor Hotel. Luckily we weren't disappointed! The grounds lead to an impressive building although a little spoilt by the add-ons. The peacocks were ever present wandering around the grounds. We booked a double room with four poster bed. As per... more
Stayed at Pendley Manor with my Fiance for one night stay. We arrived on Saturday to a grand looking old manor and beauitfully, well kept grounds. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food was wonderful, " no faults there." we stayed in one of the four-poster bedrooms in the main manor. The room was nice and the bed comfortable.... more
This hotel really depends on what you are looking for. Beauty - YES! The building is beautiful to look at, the grounds are perfectly maintained. The internal lobby is gorgeous with a magnificent staircase. All the rooms (breakfast, bar, conservatory) all have wonderful big windows. The pool/spa area is smaller than expected - but still perfect. Clean and well maintained... more
