This is a property with 17th century origins owned by HF Holidays - a not for profit company offering excellent value walking and other holidays. Speaking as a somewhat fussy North American, it is far from luxurious but was certainly comfortable. Well, I stayed here for a week in July 2008 on a bridge and sightseeing Holiday. The hotel has a wonderful friendly atmosphere. Good food and nice surroundings. The hotel is run by Holiday Fellowship and as well as bridge and sightseeing they had walkers the same week we went. A mixture of young and old, singles. families and couples.... more
