Friendly place, they called ahead before our arrival, happy to chat with us as we checked in. Much like the rest of the island, a little like going back in time, with dated decor. Bed was moderately comfortable, breakfast was small but hot and fresh. There is car parking (small) which is handy and the location is pretty good. Overall,... more

We liked it here & will stay here again when in Ryde. The breakfast was good, staff very friendly, and room comfortable. The location was great for Union Street, which was a short walk away. more

Car park was like musical chairs.Bed was like sleeping on a board.En-suite was an old cupboard. Breakfast !!! Maybe they'd run out when we got there, but others seemed to have a plateful. Booked for two nights, one was enough!! more

I would happily recommend the Abingdon Lodge. Very friendly staff, good location for Ryde town and beach. The breakfast was good. I stayed in a single room which was a good size with ample storage, a TV and tea making facilities. The shower and toilet were a little small but not an issue. The decor is not modern or trendy. more

Stayed here out of season with young child - everything fine, convenient, staff friendly and helpful, comfortable room, good breakfast (though arrangements a little confused!) Off-street parking (can be a bit tricky manoeuvring in but it's a big benefit in this area which is otherwise not easy to park in). Would certainly stay again. more
