Our stay with Prue and Andy was, in every way, just that bit more special than any of the many other B & B places we encountered. They have an amazing store of knowledge about Kent in general, plus Cranbrook & Sissinghurst in particular. Warmth, safety and fun were there in abundance. Our room was simply lovely, spacious, a soft,... More

Generally OK but not been updated since 1970's. Nothing was quite clean, towels rather over used and a bit smelly. Garden chairs and table not cleaned, but cushions saved the day. Sitting room not available because it was " a mess". Dog in dining room during breakfast and was allowed on chairs. The B&B is on a triangle with traffic... More

A fine B&B, good bathroom down the hall; quaint since it was an oast barn and house at one time. Good restaurant nearby. Home-made bread for breakfast, and a very sweet little dog who appreciates a bit of a nibble when no one is looking! More

Such a warm welcome which leaves you wanting to return which we hope to do. Andy and Prue have such a local knowledge you can ask anything and get really good advice. They have a very interesting style of house and wonderful selection of books on gardening. Ate at The George in Cranbrook on their advice and were not disappointed,... More
