Well, I liked the very historic feel to the hotel. It was unfortunate that we were unable to get the "more" haunted room. We turned down the room with the haunted cat for one with a balcony that overlooked a rather scenic fountain. A very nice room, I strongly suggest it. The Buxton Inn is a collection of older buildings with pleasant "gardens" and fountains created a cloisered feel. That said, the place urgently needs renovation, outside and in. It's as if it's in a time warp from the early 1980's. Dinner was abysmal. Nice staff, though. more
