We travel to Deal to visit family and have experienced many different types of accomodation - the good and the bad. We found this place on Trip Advisor so went for it. So lets get the bad bits out of the way first - the mattress wasn't comfy - sorry! BUT, we had the attic twin room which was clean... More

This friendly B&B is perfectly located on Gilford Road just a 5 minute walk from High Street and 3 mins to Deal Castle and the seafront. Staff is very accomodating and you get a bit of a "family experience". Breakfast is excellent and they will cook or prepare English or continental as per your preferences. Rooms are ok and in... B&B in handy location for sightseeing, beach and shopping. We were lucky to find parking just across the street as we arrived late on Friday. Good points: Lovely breakfast and friendly young lady who could not have done more to accommodate our wishes. Clean and pleasant breakfast area and nice cloth napkins very much appreciated. Clean and bright bedroom ,nicely... More

We weren't lucky with our stay. My boyfriend had a shower and all was fine I then got into the shower but within 2 minutes the water was stopped. We were moved to another room and I managed to finish my shower. Afterwards we found out that because the tiles in our shower were broken the water leaked into the... More

This was my first visit to Deal to visit friends. The highlight of my stay at Edmund House has to be the breakfasts. Full English with tea, cereals and juices was plentiful and set me up for the day and beautifully cooked. The owner was very friendly and as it turned out a great fellow lover of music from fifties,... More

Lovely breakfast, comfy bed, really welcoming hosts. I felt at home here! I stayed for 4 nights whilst on a course. A very friendly place to stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks Bill and Lorna! Excellent value for money.

We were unable to get into the guest house at check in time as the housekeeper was out doing the shopping and arrived back half an hour later. Our room on the first floor was basic and fairly unattractive but this would have been acceptable had the room been clean and functional. There was no hand soap in the bathroom... More

Sorry you thought your stay was disappointing. As for the cleanness of the rooms and house we have a high standard and unfortunately at the time you stayed I had just got rid of a cleaner due to similar issues when she worked. For the breakfast everything is cooked 5 minutes before you are due down as we believe on... More
