Having passed this lovely looking hotel over several weeks in my travels and loving Thai food, I booked a table for my husband and I as a treat.
The restaurant was shabby and the aluminium cutlery should have been an indication of what was to follow. The chicken satay in the mixed hors d'oeuvres was like beef jerky, so dry and tough and virtually welded to the skewer. The toasts were pretty horrendous too.
Our main courses were all the same colour and the only vegetables to be seen were a couple of tired pepper slices on the dish as garnish. The meat was inedible, so tough we had to spit it out.
Because we didnt want to spoil the evening that we had looked forward to so much, we paid the bill, declining a tip and left. But on hindsight we should have sent the food back and left.
