Arrived late and was greeted by a stoned teenager with no communication skills who failed to tell me anything other than my room number. The whole place is incredibly outdated, cold and the shower only ran cold in the morning. The teenage girl there in the morning couldn't help and refused any repsonsibilty for anything. This has to be the... more

Basic B&B with dated decor (looks like it hasn't been redecorated since the 80's). Although clean, and a nice sea view, the sound proofing between rooms are limited. We could hear the family with kids above us. The breakfast was fine but to be honest i wouldn’t stay there again nor recommend it to anyone. It was expensive for basic... more

Arrived to find disgusting room; cramped, passed off as a double room when only had a 3/4 sized bed. Horrible bathroom and lock on the room door didn't even work properly. We went to the lady who owned it and said we would rather stay somewhere else, due to the unexpected condition of room. She was extremely aggressive, and called... more

I can not understand these comments as they are totaly untrue! We have just finished a full refurbishment of our family run guest house. Our double rooms have full size double or king size beds. Not 3/4 beds as described. We were decorating the reception area when these guests arrived however at no inconvienance to them. The only problem that...

We stayed in Room 8 - and found the whole experience terrible. The decor was shabby. The restaurant was dirty. The only member of staff (the son of the owners?) we encountered was moody and unhelpful. We tried to get a drink in the bar at 9:20 but were told the bar had already closed. We went next door to... more

All of our rooms have been graded by Visit Britain as 3 star guest accommodation. They are all clean, modern and comfortable and all have brand new solid pine beds and furniture and brand new 100% wool carpets. Room 8 has magnolia walls a beige carpet and co-ordinating bedding the room is neautrally decorated and is very bright and airey....

We booked this via Smoothhound and the booking conditions on the website said that we would receive written confirmation that we needed to sign and return. We never received this so assumed the booking wasn't confirmed, so when we tried to change rooms things got a little awkward but we sorted it out in the end. The hotel itself wasn't... more
