We stayed at this hotel for 4 days. It isn't perfect (how many are?) but we were pleased with it. The hotel,like the Marie Celeste was found mysteriously devoid of any signs of life so was our "Full English Breakfast", one sausage ,one rasher,one egg and fifty-two baked beans forget the cheap cereals on offer. we found the staff very friendly and eager to oblige. we were in a balcony room with sea views which we would recommend. breakfast was very nice all in all had a good time . booking again next year for a longer stay. more

Just a small selections of things that i had encountered: Upon Arrival found that they had given a member of my families room away ( due to not having a very good Reservations system!) i took very seriously the mistake with booking on this occasion and although i accept the comment about the room the couple in question failed to mention the fact that my sincere apologies were backed with a no charge for the room and a substantial dis count for the couple if they should like to stay for a weekend in...
We had a lovely stay! We paid £25 for the night and felt we had recieved good value for money. Whilst it is true it is a very old building, this to me, is what gave it character! Booked as one of a large party for the kite festival. A good lick of paint has obviously gone into the reception and dining areas as the new owners attempt to make up for the recent history of the building. The room was very dirty, nasty carpet stains, poor service, torn towels, TV not working, unfriendly receptionist. NEVER AGAIN!!! more
