A lovely stay. We had to be at a wedding locally and looked at Trip Advisor for advice. It came up trumps and we had super stay in the Valley Room. Superb breakfasts, suberb hosts, lovely dogs. 5 stars..........6/7 would be more like it. more

We have just returned from a 6 week trip in the UK staying in 14, 5 star B & Bs and found The Old Vicarage at Doddington to be clearly one of the best. How wonderful to be met and looked after by Claire, ( and Mummy Sandy and Lotte, her well mannered dogs, ) after a 24 hour flight.... more

The room is more like a little apartment and actually consists of a private hallway with three separate rooms. There is a spacious master bedroom with a large double bed. This bedroom... more

Really lovely. Welcomed us warmly and nothing was too much trouble. The owners went above the call of duty. Both the room and bathroom were clean and bright. Breakfast was fantastic, wide choice and perfectly cooked. more

The Old Vicarage is a stunning retreat set in the middle of the Kent countryside. As the name suggests, it is a beautifully converted Vicarage which still retains a lot of it's orginal features and character I spent a fantastic 2 nights here with my family and can not recommend it enough. The hospitality we recived was second to none.... more

When touring Kent for the first time, we made the Old Vicarage our home base and could not have asked for better. The owners (and their 2 beautiful dogs) were gracious hosts that made us feel at home right away. The setting was peaceful, the rooms comfortable and Claire's big breakfasts got us right through until dinner! If you are... more

We stayed at the Old Vicarage during our first visit to England and our weekend in Doddington was a highlight of our trip. The house is lovely, the rooms and beds spacious and comfortable, the breakfasts delicious and the hosts so warm and welcoming. We enjoyed long walks through the surrounding countryside and meals at two nearby pubs. We recommend... more

Stayed for 1 night at the start of June. We were welcomed as soon as we opened the door and the service was impecable. The location of this guest accomodation is rural, but still easy to find. Wonderful views and outlook, with breakast overlooking the rolling hills. We would certainly recommend staying here and we will certainly be back in... more
