We booked this hotel at the last minute for a Friday night stay. Despite foul weather outside we arrived to a warm welcome and a very comfortable and spacious room. The bathroom had been renovated relatively recently, and everything worked well. The only negative comment I could make was that the dining room was rather dark with little natural light.

Visited for Sunday lunch. In spite of the restaurant being nearly empty the service was poor. They did not have all of their wines on their limited list.
