This is my local pub. I recommend this pub/hotel for the extreme good homemade food and especially the Sunday Roasts and Breakfasts. The owners Keith and Margaret make you welcome as you own family. If you want a typical English Bed and Breakfast Hotel is the Waterloo your choice to stay. more
i have stayed their many times. the owner & his family & staff make you feel like one of the family.its very much a traditional pub all the food is fresh people comefrom all over for some of the most traditional foods.service is great. yes it may be basic but its like home. if asked anything they tend to go... more
The Waterloo Hotel is situated near to Bury FC's ground at Gigg Lane, & therefore very handy for somewhere to rest your weary head after a night on the beer after watching a game there. The hotel/pub is beat described as cheap & cheerful. Not the sort of place to bring the wife, but ideal for lads up to watch... more
Bed full of metal ridges. Noise until after midnight. No baby cot even though this was arranged, and when asked for it had no mattress. Awful breakfast more
