We stayed here during a walking holiday in the area, just a few yards away from the Leeds/Liverpool canal. Bedroom was good size, clean and tidy. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners. Amazed to find free WiFi internet, you don't get this free in most 4 star hotels. Breakfast was good and plentyful. Private safe carpark. Had a... more

Went to Clayton-le-Moors for a wedding and decided to stay here and not at the hotel where the reception took place. We drove up from London and although the owners were not in when we arrived they made sure that we could gain access to our room in their absence. We stayed in the annex, the room was enormous, the... more

I went to see the Accrington football match in October and was recommended the Maple Lodge, the grounds are within easy walking distance of the hotel. The owners, Philip and Sandra, are very friendly and welcoming. This is certainly one of the better hotels I have stayed in and very good value for money. Highly recommended. more

Stayed here for a couple of days on business. The place had everything I needed, comfortable, friendly, food, bar, free wi-fi (a real bonus!!), and digital TV (surprising how many places still don't have this). I stayed in the main house so cannot comment on the other posters view of noise, I reckon the walls inside must be about two... more

Stayed at Maple Lodge for 2 nights when visitng the area. Room was very comfortable and clean (extra bed even supplied for my 4 year old who thought the "hotel" was great!). The bar had an excellent selection of drinks and snacks and the breakfast and dinner was very tasty and very reasonably priced. The owners are very friendly and... more

Would recommend asking to stay in the maple Suite if availiable, (has the biggest bed). Although room 8 does have a... more

Stayed for one night. This B & B is very convenient if you are attending a course at the business park which is situated at the bottom of the road! We stayed in the lodge which was nicely decorated and equipped. The wi fi and dvd player was a real bonus, the only downside was that you could hear lots... more

Unfortunately during this ladies stay, we had a couple of lads in the adjoining room who were not as considerate to our other guests as they should have been, they were spoken to the following day.

I stayed at the Maple Lodge for 4 weeks while working in Clayton-le-Moors. It is a good B&B, more then half the guests where long term ones, coming back for week after week. The rooms are a good size and all en-suite, I had a shower stall in mine, which suited me. All the rooms also had Freeview. Phil and... more

Since this gentlemans visit, additional sound insulation has been put in to reduce the noise levels between rooms.
