Haven't stayed here as I live locally but we've eaten there a few times now. The homous and warm home made bread is to die for! We've tried numerous items on the menu all of which have been delicious, with huge portions! So definitely great value for money!

Called in this pub for a meal on our way back to our hotel as we had been delayed on the Settle/Carlisle railway. We were made to feel welcome and opted for the £13.50 three course. At that price we were a bit concerned that the food would be awful but were pleasantly surprised. I had tempura prawns followed by... More

I booked the White Bull online as I fancied a nice village pub atmosphere. I was breaking a long journey from Aberdeen to Somerset. I was pretty upset to find the pub shut when I arrived, the excuse given that the staff needed a night off as they had worked the bank holiday the day before. I was received Ok... More

Went to this public house/restaurant with a large party. Had contacted the White Bull previous as we wanted to reserve a table (being such a large group), and asked if he would be able to put some balloons etc up. The food was a regular menu or a special menu, most decided on the special menu, as it was a... More

Yet again the white bull has excelled in providing a superb meal. The vegetables were cooked beautifully and the service was spot on. At the moment they have an excellent special menu which offers 3 courses for £13.95 which is outstanding value. Hassan and Rachel are excellent hosts and are very attentive. The real fire sis beautiful and certainly helps... More

I come to Gisburn quite a lot and always go to the White Bull!! Love everything on the menu and always have a good chat to the staff. I'd highly recommend this to anyone visiting Gisburn...one of the highlights in this quiet town.

We thought we would try the White Bull in Gisburn as we have not been in since the new owners took over - very good decision - we had a fantastic meal. I had the "Hot One" Pizza which was delicious and my husband had the Lamb Meat Balls which were also delicious. All the food is fresh and well... More

Didn't stay here but decided to pop in for lunch as it had changed hands some months previous (the last owners practically wiped out the trade) The food was a mix of English and Mediterranean. I opted for a spiced chicken kebab with rice or chips, pitta home made mayo and salad. It was delicious and you got plenty. Partner... More
