My wife and I spent three nights at Stanley House just before Christmas. The delay in posting this review results from the need to engage in some follow-up correspondence with the hotel’s management. My stay at Stanley House was perfect and it could not have been improved in any way, shape or form. I particularly liked Mr Fred's Bar, the staff looked very professional (and vaguely resembled Jimmy Carr which i liked) and had a very detailed knowledge of the menu - especially the wines. Really excellent find and is our first choice for a local getaway, certainly the best boutique hotel in Lancashire. We arrived at Stanley House and were totally in awe at the 54 acre grounds and breathtaking views and a completely different class and standard all together.
