We stopped the weekend as we were visiting nearby Horse Trials. It was basic but clean and ideal for crashing out at the end of the day. Would recommend it if it's just a bed for the night. more

Stayed for 3 nights this week for £58 total - excellent value , room clean and bright , good location for Uppingham & Oakham and more importantly Rutland Water ( as we brought our bikes ). Used the Little Chef takeaway service which was quite good value. more

Stayed at the Travelodge Uppingham Morcott and used it as a base to visit the area including Stamford Oakham and Rutland water. Hotel is set back far enough from the main road so that traffic noise was not a problem. Our room was on the ground floor on the front. The room was very clean and tidy, sheets and towels... more

We were Travelodge virgins and booked a room after reading reviews on this site, with some amount of trepidation. After visiting Oakham, Uppingham and Stamford to look at antiques and churches we booked in ( friendly receptionist ) at six and were pleased to be given a quiet room at the back with clean linen and reasonably clean ( not... more

Needed an overnight stop not too far from the A1 and as it was literally just a break in our journey, didn't want to fork out for anything too expensive and decided to book this Travelodge after reading the reviews on this website. It was a good move for an inexpensive overnight stop. A Travelodge is a Travelodge and will... more

Not stayed in a Travelodge before but was very pleasantly surprised. Friendly and courteous staff, spotlessly clean, comfy bed, ensuite with shower, tv, kettle and drinks tray, plenty of hanging space and an ample sized room. The best bit was the price...£15 per night for the two of us and the dog. Can't go wrong really! Thinking about it I... more

We were touring East Anglia (using Travelodge's Saver rate offers) and stayed her for one night. We chose this hotel as we wanted to visit Rutland water. The lodge is clean and tidy. It was a benefit that the Lodge was only a few minutes drive from the village centre and 10 minutes drive to the small town of Uppingham,... more

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while visiting Rutland Water. The location was on the A47, a few miles from the town of Uppingham. The hotel was very quiet and our room at the back overlooked farmland. The only noise from outside was a pheasant calling. The room was fairly basic Travelodge standard but no complaints and it... more
