The hotel itself is very nice and the (serving) staff very pleasant and we have used it on many occassions since its re-opening under new ownership and have recommended it to many without reservation.

However, after witnessing regular lapses in managerial protocols involving significant alcohol abuse, resulting in a culture of unacceptable behaviour in the presence of and towards patrons, we feel compelled to warn other travellers of what they may expect.

It is a pity that such behaviour is prevalent as this establishment has the potential to be probably the best hotel and bar in the area - but only if the management was radically changed. more
