My boyfriend and I stayed in Bardola Lodge pretty much when they were first built. We'd hear about the Crab and Lobster through friends and just had to go. We go to the crab and lobster once or twice a year for great seafood and a fabulous/unusual place to stay. Very quirky lots of antiques hanging around and great Ale Bole music playing. Staff at reception were friendly, informative, helpful and efficient. The porter gave us the guided tour and then showed us to our room. We were in the Cypriani Palace - quirkey but great once you got used to the wall paper! Very comfortable four-poster bed. Loved the bath. Gardens, beautiful. Food and service faultless. We stayed for one night as part of our honeymoon in the Bora Bora Suite. The bathroom was way passed it's best with cracked floor tiles and bizarrely no door so no chance of privacy.
