I was dreading arrival at this place after reading some of the reviews on this site however I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. The park was spotlessly clean as was the caravan. We were in a Superior caravan which looked almost new. There was a big queue to check in but went down fairly quickly, collected linen which was... more

Stayed on Rose Bank in a Prestige caravan nothing Prestige about it, spacious lounge & shower room but really needed a good clean, blind in kitchen wanted replacing not suprised they had not closed it down, shower door needed a bottle of bleach, other than these small faults did not spoil the holiday.Tried the chinese restaurant on the site, fast... more

While I agree with individual opinions I think one or two are a bit harsh for Primrose Valley. I have been there 4 times this year already and we are going again next month for a long weekend. I can't understand anyone who pays £9.50 should expect anything other than bog standard accommodation, but I have heard from staff that... more

Firstly, cant quite understand comments such as 'not as bad as expected' - surely if you expected it to be bad you wouldnt book in the first place. The caravan was really spacey and clean but sadly smelt a bit of stale tobacco (our only gripe) - we were in the 'chav area' (see review below) where the caravans were... more

Hi all just returned from a £9.50 holiday at Primrose (although the true cost was far higher after we upgraded!!), there were good and bad points but we still had a great 4 day break. On arrival we had to queue in the Jesters Showbar to check in, it was so badly organised, they made you feel like you were... more

I have previously been to both Blue Dolphin & Thorpe Park Haven sites and as a child went to Primrose Valley. It has much improved over the years and has expanded greatly. On-site facilities include two swimming pools both with slides although the Splashworld has much more water features although the pools were not particulartly warm at this one. Other... more

I recently travelled here with my boyfriend and baby daughter on a sun £9.50 break. Check in at 4pm was a long queue, we eventually got our keys at 5.30pm. This however is typical of every holiday park, so shouldn't be seen as negative reflection of Primrose Valley. We arrived at our caravan, which was lovely. Very clean, spacious and... more

Everthing on the site was overpriced and there didn't seem to be any activities that were included in the holiday price, other than the small swimming pools which only made money on the lockers. While we were there we even overheard staff complaining that they didnt make enough money from the pools so they would have to get more lockers... more

We have just returned from a brillant week in Primrose Valley. We went with our 2 children 5 and 7 month and stayed in a superiour van, the van was basic but had everything we needed and was clean, the only issue was the fridge. When we arrived we put the fridge on with a switch labelled the fridge but... more
