I decided to treat my hisband to a night away at the Star Inn for his 50th birthday. It was everything we couldl have hoped for. The accomodation was excellent. We particualrly liked the honesty bar. This was our 2nd stay at The Star and it was just as wonderful as last time. We stayed in room 2 - it was beautifully unfussy with a real luxurious feel. We stayed for one night as a romantic break. We stayed in the Garden Shed. It was lovely - more of a mini cottage than a hotel room. It was nice to have the extra room. I stayed at the Star Inn with my boyfriend for one night in March 2007 to celebrate my birthday. We had to book ten months in advance to get in on a Friday night, so we had very high expectations!
