Official Description (provided by the hotel):: Welcome to the Crown Hotel in Hawes, a traditional Yorkshire Dales country pub and restaurant. My wife, Lindsay and myself took over the Crown in December 2012 to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere with honest, delicious food, great beer and attentive, friendly service. We have two completely redecorated and refitted en-suite guest rooms available. One is a double room, the other a family room with a double and single bed. The tariff includes full English breakfast and of course VAT. Both rooms include a flat-screen TV with Freeview, clock-radio-alarm, hair dryer, tea/coffee making facilities, complementary snacks, supplementary plug-in radiator and free broadband WiFi available throughout. we have just returned from an overnight stay .it was our 25th wedding anniversary and just decided to pack a bag and drive somewhere we got very lucky .the food was fantastic the room was tastefully decorated and spotless and very comfortable we were made very welcome and nothing was too much trouble and all staff were friendly and helpful... If you paid for the service this place would cost a fortune! A group of us stayed here on Saturday as an half way point on a coast to coast bike ride. The staff were very welcoming to us and our bikes. Rooms, breakfast, evening meal & beer were excellent, Thankyou very much

Great stop off in the Yorkshire dales. Lovely friendly owners who were very approachable for service and information about the area. Lovely clean room with exciting extras like crisps and peanuts!! “Fantastic welcome”

Me and my husband stayed Saturday and Sunday over Easter in one of the refurbished rooms which was very clean and warm and also allowed dogs to stay as well. Nothing was too much trouble. The food as always was first class. would highly recommend The Crown everyone is always so friendly and cannot do enough for you.
