Just returned after staying a week. This was our second visit and look forward to our next stay here. The location is ideal for visiting the Bridlington/Scarborough area. Stacey and Peter, the owners personally supervise the hotel and the food is superb.. more

The con: there was no shower hose/head in the bathtub in our room. But his was a minor con. The pros: - large rooms, dining room, lounge. The hotel was an grand old house, so there is a lot of space - the furniture is fabulous and adds lots of character - very friendly and helpful staff, relaxed about checkout... more

The owners are very friendly as we got a lovely welcome and are very polite. The family room was gorgeous, clean, spacious with a fabulous welcome tray which included biscuits, tea, coffee, drinking chocolate and bottled water. There was a king size bed and bunk beds, combi television and DVD player. Our bathroom was lovely but we had trouble maintaining a nice temperature from the shower as... more

We ofter stay at "posh" hotels, with no children we like to spoil ourselves occasionally so trying the Victorian style Wrangham House Hotel was a new experience for us....Wow what a gem. The Hosts, Stacie and Peter, are very welcoming and hospitable, nothing was too much trouble. They are currently refurbishing some areas of the Hotel but this did not... more

Planned a weekend away but being the impulsive type never booked anything, whilst driving along the Yorkshire coast decided to take a look at Hunmanby and have some lunch before heading into Whitby to find accomodation. Looked in a few of the pubs for some lunch but did not like the look but then we found Wrangham House Hotel. A... more

We booked this very last minute for the August bank holiday so were really pleased that we got the last room. Hotel is in a good location for the yorkshire coast - Filey and Cayton Bay are good beaches - especially for dogs. We were in the coach house and unfortunately didn't enjoy the first night stay as we didn't... more

We thought this hotel was very different. It is a gorgeous old vicarage with lovely original features and in a beautiful setting. The bedrooms are clean and comfy and oldy worldy which we found very relaxing. The owners are accommodating and very friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble. The dining room was very nice and served a very generous... more

From the minute we arrived nothing was too much trouble for the owners Peter and Stacie. The building is a victorian vicarage sitting in the heart of the village and next to the church. It has been restored with love and care and is wonderfully comfortable with a cosy bar with deep leather sofas, an elegant dining room and a... more

We were looking for somewhere to stay at short notice near the East Coast and found this place in our AA Hotel Guide. We booked over the phone and were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to find that this was a much nicer place than we had expected. We were in the coach house annexe up a spiral staircase, and... more

A small well run family hotel. It is clean and has character as it is a former vicarage. Food is excellent - although a menu for breakfast would be a bonus so that options were more obvious. Service is good and friendly, although waiting staff lacked experience. Good for touring east Yorkshire as the village where the hotel mis set... more
