Friendly staff, great food a real find in a great little town. The room was clean tidy & comfortable 👍 We had a great meal, steak pie with veggies & fish burger prices realistic. Great position in a narrow street with easy walk to Richmond Castle.. Would I recommend it you better believe it!

I stay at the Black Lion twice every year and it just keeps improving, very clean rooms, very helpful staff, excellent food and a great location. Kem and his staff have turned the Black lion into a really good hotel and i would recommend it to anyone.

Stayed for two nights and second visit to the Black Lion at Richmond. Kem , Karen and their staff always make you most welcome. Food and accomdation are excellent. In fact I found local shopkeepers and people most friendly. I intend to visit again in the near future.
