We stayed at the Westend guest house overnight on our way to our holiday in Northumberland. The welcome we recieved from Mrs Teeley was lovely, we've stayed in many B&Bs before and have never been made to feel so comfortable. We were given a pot of tea and some yummy biscuits.
Our room was a prettily furnished en-suite double, incredibly clean and tidy. Breakfast was at a reasonable time, not too early! It consisted of cereals, fruit, followed by full english if you wanted and toast, served obviously with Yorkshire tea or coffee.
We would definitely recommend this guest house, wish we could have stayed longer. There are four self-catering houses next door which, if we went again, would seriously consider hiring as you can easily walk into Richmond which is absolutely stunning with the castle and rolling dales view. You are also, very close to the A1 for days out etc.,
