I booked a two night stay at the Wayfarer over the 'halloween' weekend as a celebartion of my husbands birhday. He was keen to visit Robin Hood's Bay but having never stayed there I searched for suitable accomodation through the internet and discovered this place. Perfect location, excellent reviews - but you just never know. From the moment we arrived... more

we visited the bistro for a meal out, and found that most dishes were good value for money. Some of our table were big fish eaters, and they could tell that the fish was not as fresh as it could have been, and were dissapointed and let down by this. We felt that the quality of the fish dishes did... more

Just got back from a 2 night stay at the Wayfarer. We booked the B&B because of the fantastic reviews on trip advisor and we have to say that we agree with everything that has been written already about this wonderful B&B. We couldn't fault anything, we stayed in room number 4 at the top of the house, we had... more

What a cracking B&B, beautiful rooms that are immaculately clean and spacious, and very roomy, we had room 4 with the added luxury of having a lounge area. Both Chris and Lucy are charming people who work hard, from first thing in the morning to last thing at night, to ensure you get the best from your stay. The lower... more

We had a room with a balcony absolutely wonderful, good clean room, spotless bathroom with fantastic shower and lovely thick towels. Both... more

An excellent location for exploring the East coast. With clean and very comfortable rooms, Chris and Lucy were the perfect hosts and worked very hard to make our stay enjoyable. The Bistro meals were exceptional and, together with the friendly and helpful staff, this was a holiday to remember. We will be back! Thanks, Carol and Derek. more

We arrived on Friday and were presented with a comfortable room with a fantastic balcony and sea view. After an energetic walk along the wonderful coastline to Ravenscar, we completed the day with a very tasty meal at the bistro - I had mussells and they were fantastic. On Saturday, breakfast included tender meat from the local butcher. After a... more

My wife and I stayed at the Wayfarer Bistro & B&B in July 2009. We also ate here each of our four nights. We had originally tried to book one of the balcony rooms because we had read on this site that they were good but they were booked already so we took room four instead. It was really good.... more
