When we arrived there was a note pinned on the restaurant door telling us where to go - we dropped the bags off and found the rooms fairly small and small windows but clean - it was a bit strange as at no time were we welcomed by a member of staff!! We had booked the table for Saturday evening... more

Stayed for one night at the Bramblewick. I would repeat what others have said about the impersonal 'welcome'- was met by young member of staff clearing up from lunch who reminded us of our own teenage daughter in her manner towards us-perhaps not the most relaxing start! Apart from this, we enjoyed our stay. Food in restaurant was very good-... more

Situated just above the slipway at the bottom of the hill. Have to park at the top and walk down. Lovely old building, but because of age you can hear lots of creaks when anyone moves in surrounding rooms. Small room with tiny shower, but adequate. Breakfast from 9-11am so asked for it at 8.30 am which not a problem.... more

Just come back from a two night stay at the Bramblewick and loved it! It is perfect for a romantic escapism break! We stayed in the attic room which also has its own living room and kitchen area. The room, as well as the building itself, was full of charm, quirkyness and character. We booked a table in the restaurant... more

We stayed a friday night in January with my one year old daughter. I agree almost everything everyone else has said (our room wasn't noisy). The Bramblewick is a lovely old buiding...lovely location..right at the dock..v handy for the pub. Rooms clean and tidy...abit snug but that's what you'd expect for a building of that era. Restaurant lovely. Evening meal... more

Stayed at this lovely B&B last week and it has just three rooms but a real romantic getaway. Right in the dock of the bay within walking distance of the three local pubs and it has it's own restaurant which I will write a separate review on. Clean, cosy and just what I expected for a romantic weekend break. A... more

The Bramblewick Guest House is run by a friendly couple who don't believe in sending you out on an empty stomach. The rooms are all en-suite, cleaned daily and recently decorated. Breakfast was huge and tasty. The owners were really friendly and helped wherever possible to ensure we made the most of our time in Scarborough. more

We have stayed here twice in the past and both occasions had a lovely time. It is really close to the sea front and it is fine to drive down and drop cases off before parking further up. Book Bramblewick restaurant before visit - we went to RHB this weekend (not to B&B) and couldn't get a table. Both Bay... more

Stayed at the Bramblewick for one night during weekend away. We stayed on a Saturday night. The room we stayed in was lovely - well decorated and clean. The bathroom was nice and modern. tea and coffee making facilities were great. Breakfast was included which was very tasty. Great location, right near the sea. We parked at the top of... more
