A very friendly welcome with a bonus of a hot drink with home made scones and jam. The rest of our stay continued in the same way. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Whilst I haven't stayed in many B&Bs, I can't see how I could want much more than what the Manning Tree offered: large room and ensuite all spotlessly clean; very comfortable bed; delicious breakfast; and small creature comforts like tea/coffee making facilities, cookies, wardrobe safe... The only downside is that it isn't in the smuggler's port part of the town... more
