We had a one night break to break up a long journey, we had booked a family room the week before. The hotel was very quiet ( until we arrived with 3 small children ! ) the staff were very helpful. The first family room we had was fine but the toilet had an overflow problem, we requested a room... more

Back to the hotel for the second time in a month. Glad to say that the last good experience of the friendly staff wasn't a fluke. Well done! The heating does need attention though. more

After reading recent reviews on here i was quite worried about my stay, but as my boss booked the room and payed for it, i had no other choice to brave it. On arriving into the car park I thought 'oh my god' looks rather old but quite unique. On entering the hotel I was shocked but in a GOOD... more

Stayed one night in a dingy room - room 320 (although the communal parts are perfectly nice & the staff are friendly) and am now covered in bites which can only be from bed bugs. Away from the plush hall and bar area it's all a bit musty and grimy. The gym's small but decent as is the pool but... more

We booked this hotel as it has been refurbished since we last stayed there. We stopped going there as it was very much in need of some TLC. On arrival there had been a great change and the room we were booked into was very nice. although the floorboards creaked excessively. Unfortunately, we were unable to have a meal in... more

We have a young family and recently stayed here whilst visiting family in the area. Its close proximity to Richmond and Darlington meant we had plenty to see and do. The rooms were clean and all the staff we spoke with were pleasant and helpful. The use of the swimming pool was also a bonus!! Overall good value for money. more
