Visited with friends for lunch on 22/12 and 2/1/10 in Brasserie - main hall cold, no fire and unwelcoming with no atmosphere at all - telegraph review was spot on!! Food was OK, nothing special but drinks terribly expensive (£8.50 for a glass of wine) more

This was an overnighter base we used for a company meeting. Even for a relative local (like me), its a bit tricky to find, but well worth the effort. On a secluded estate with fabulous countryside, the place is full of character. The Great Hall is stunning with a lovely big log fire that made for the perfect autumn evening.... more

Rooms: although the bed was comfortable, at 6am it sounded like a helicopter was taking off outside our room, apparently our room was above the kitchen. This happened both mornings Breakfast was cold when we eventually got it and the mushrooms had been deep-fried, disgusting. 4 rossettes???? i don't think so, we had one meal in the brasserie and one... more

We have just returned from a 2 night leisure break at Fawsley Hall for our Wedding anniversary. From arrival to departure we were made to feel special and welcome, eating in the brasserie was excellent, the quality of the food coupled with the reasonable prices are the advantages here, although after experiencing the quality we would love to try the... more

We spent a weekday night here and loved the stylish decor, the magnificent Great Hall as a place to relax among the squashy cushions and thought the food in the Brasserie was delicious and excellent value. Our room felt luxurious if more chintzy than modern decor, with a large bathroom and the bed was huge and extremely comfortable - I... more

My partner and I stayed at Fawlsey Hall recently to celebrate our anniversary and we were so pleased with the hotel, we didn't want to leave! We stayed in room 3, which was a good sized bedroom with large bathroom and very comfortable bed. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great on the Saturday afternoon, but the Great Hall was the perfect... more

I stayed here 5 years ago on a works trip and have always wanted to go back for a leisure stay as the previous 1 night stay had wowed me. We are a young couple who don't regularly stay in top hotels so this was a real 2 night treat. We got a last minute £99 p/night rate for B&B... more
