We were greeted by Janette and immediately felt at home, a lovely lady, everything a hostess should be, warm, friendly and welcoming. We visited Northumberland ten years ago, staying in the perfect B & B in Rothbury. We said we'd go back, but the proprietors moved on and we thought we couldn't possibly find anywhere as good in the area again. A warm welcome from Bruce and Janette. A great couple of nights spent at West Acre House. Nothing too much trouble. Good breakfast selection. Room extremely well co-ordinated and of a great size. Would recommend to anyone and would stay again.
