Stayed at Pugmill for one week (Saturday 25th July). This superbly appointed holiday cottage was in an away from it all location yet only 1 mile to Eglingham and 6 miles to Alnwick. Was able to watch the sheep being sheared and rounded up by the sheep dog on the farm- a great experienc! Every little detail was catered for in this beautiful cottage. 2 bedroom 2 bathroomed with a superbly appointed kitchen with seating area and a delightful first floor lounge with multi- fuel log burning fire. Views over the surrounding countryside were a delight. Ideally placed for exploring the beaches and castles. The only trouble was we ran out of time to do all that we had hoped. Travelled with a 4 & 8 year old. more
