Brilliant boutique hotel with the best breakfast ever. Charles and Christine could not have been more helpful and were great hosts. Everything about the property was first class.The Tree House nearby is a must visit location. We would love to go back to Oransay House.

A tastefully refurbished place showing an abundance of thought in this beautiful house. From the moment of arrival until departure the hosts were most attentive to provide a service that went the extra mile. excellent b/b on arrival upgraded to the suite ,charles and christine were superb hosts breakfast lasted all day will go back ...also you must try the tree house restaurant at alnwick gardens the food was superb......

“Perfection in a bed and breakfast”

This bed and breakfast is faultless. The bedrooms are spotlessly clean and well appointed. The breakfast will keep you going for the rest of the day. Charles and Christine are excellent, friendly and helpful hosts and it comes with free parking round the back of the property. What more could you ask for

“A warm and welcoming winter weekend”

Right from arriving in the car park Charles and Christine made us feel welcome. Room 2 is lovely and spacious and has a large bay window and fireplace. The bed had lovely fresh white bedlinen and was enormous. The bathroom was huge with a great shower, big fluffy towels and the White Company toiletries were gorgeous. One of the few B&Bs that I could locate with a single room. The entire building is immaculately presented, giving you that "first and only customer" sensation. Stayed for four nights in February 2013,must say one of the nicest guest houses we've stayed in,clean,spacious,friendly and a fabulous breakfast and a great location,would recomend Oronsay to anybody,loved it.

“Exquisite bed in the suite”

Charles and Christine are very attentive hosts. Spotlessly clean, very well appointed and a truly wonderful six foot bed in the suite. Well situated for all sightseeing in Northumberland. Great breakfasts - thick fluffy towels.

Such a warm welcome from Charles and Christine! Our room had everything for our comfort, fluffy towels, quality toiletries, spacious bathroom, linen changed regularly, lovely pillows - we felt that no detail had been overlooked.
