I am sure that this is a nice country pub serving food and offering accommodation, but in my opinion it is not a three star hotel and is over priced. We had booked the stay after viewing the website and on arrival declined the accommodation as not what we wanted or appeared to be of the standard we expected from... more

We stayed here whilst completing the Coasts and Castles bike ride. After hearing great things and being told by the owners that the price hike was due to a major refurb, I was looking forward to a cosy country pub with great food.
