What more can we say? The property is absolutely beautiful, very classy and spotlessly clean. The facilities in the room were as you would expect to find in a 5 star hotel, but the personal touches added even more (there are not many hotels where you would be invited in and immediately offered a glass of mulled wine in front... more

I recently stayed at Redfoot Lea in October of this year. It was a special trip for my parents 40th aniversary. We stayed in the house taking one double room and one twin room which I stayed in with my friend. Before booking the accomodation I had read quite a lot of the reviews on Trip Adviser and thought that... more

We stayed from 27th September for 3 nights B & B in a double room which cost £225.00 (£75 per night). The accommodation was breathtaking as it was tastefully furnished. The bed was extremely comfortable and so immaculate you felt as though it was a shame to sleep in it. The breakfast was extremely well presented and a menu was... more

We had a wonderful stay from the fluffy thick towels in the bathroom to the fresh fruit at breakfast to the warm welcome everything was perfect. We hope we can find an excuse to go to Alnwick again. Ken and Erica Portugal more

We have recently stayed in several B&B places and Redfoot Lea is up there in front of the best of them. We booked it based on other Trip Advisor comments and we were not disappointed. It is spotlessly clean and guests are made to feel at home from the minute they walk in the door. There is a wide choice... more

If you are looking for a comfortable, friendly bed & breakfast look no further. The Redfoot Lea is perfect, the owners are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They have thought of everything, from a tasty breakfast to providing wine glasses, bottle opener and stopper for those wishing to take a drink in the evening. The lounge and... more

This bed and breakfast is the best I've ever experienced. The owner, Philly Bell, is a wonderful hostess who does her very best to make your stay a memorable one. The accommodation is outstanding and Philly's breakfasts are perfectly cooked and locally sourced. The location is very accessible from the A1 and close to Alnwick and the coast. A winner! more

Normally, the pictures marketing a property are not always up to scratch in real life- not this one. In this establishment, you will have 5star treatment, breakfast served with fresh local produce (do try the Crastar smoked kippers- but you really only need one...2 is just too much..) and the most comfortable of beds to sleep in. I am a... more

We enjoyed our stay in the most comfortable surroundings and really appreciated wonderful hospitality during our week's stay on a bed and breakfast basis in the Bucklaw annexe. The accomodation consisted of the bedroom, a spacious sitting room/kitchen and a twin sink bathroom with shower. All beautifully clean and well appointed. Breakfast was stunning which unfortunately since my return home... more

This is a lovely B&B, simply the best we have ever stayed in. The property is beatifully decorated and maintained. The lounge and dining room, to which you have full access, are lovely huge rooms, ideal for relaxing in after a day out. Philippa is a wonderful host, who goes out of her way to ensure your stay is comfortable.... more
