This is a true gem of a place. We stayed for 2 nights, and in that time could not find a single thing that wasn't excellent. Breakfast was superb. We loved this easy to find B&B. Very large huge ceilinged room with large bed. Large luxurious modern bathroom en suite with excellent shower. Fresh tea and milk provided with own small fridge. Breakfast generous and communal with other guests which was a pleasant change. Would visit again. More

Ian was very welcoming and was keen to ensure that all our needs were catered for. Breakfasts were excellent and served at a communal table allowing us to chat with the other guests. A last minute booking and was not disappointed. All very clean, well decorated, friendly and welcoming. I wish that we had had longer to stay. Northumbrian House proved to be an excellent base for exploring Northumberland and the borders. Ian made me feel very welcome and was a splendid host.
