Berwick is one of the newest YHA youth hostels, having only opened a few years ago. As a result the accommodation and decoration are the best I've experienced in any hostel. It's also clean and the staff are welcoming. This was out second visit and we'll definitely be back again.

Two families of three staying together in a six bed dorm with toilet and shower en suite. Great value and an interesting place to stay. Members' kitchen, TV & games room etc all in a pleasant loft area.

Stayed at Berwick YHA 9th Feb. Rooms good - we had an en suite, food lovely and the staff were friendly. Well placed for exploring the town as well. Would definitely recommend it, epsecially the Winterwarmer offer that's on at the moment.

I stumbled upon the Granary cafe this week and am so glad I did - great value,tasty food, comfortable modern surroundings and friendly helpful staff. All staff are friendly and efficient , they treat you as a friend rather than a customer and the yha always try to get involved in events and celebrations , anyone visiting Berwick upon.tweed should look.them.up if they need a room or just a meal or coffee

God this place is good. Can't believe I got ensuit at this standard for this price. Historic building with great location also. Parking free in car park effectively from 4pm til 10am. Privilege to make your own bed.
