Conveniently but quietly located just off the A1 this welcoming B&B has comfortable well equipped rooms and our down-to-earth hosts were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were very good with fresh figs from the tree in the garden (limited season!) on request. Nothing was too much trouble but we were welcome to come and go as we pleased. No... more

First time to Berwick & we found a gem! The Manor House is just off the A1 so easy to get to & find. The hosts - Kate & Mike are lovely people & take time to ensure your stay is memorable. Guests have their own lounge equiped with TV (with Sky), DVD & collection of films etc, games, guitar.... more

Excellent location close to the A1, Holy Island and Berwick. Made us very welcome withot being over fussy. Bedroom was spacious and seperate residents lounge is large and inviting. Many choices on the Breakfast menu and what we had was really delicious. Will go again next year. more

The Manor House is beautiful. A fantastic building in a gorgeous setting. Fabulous rooms with a view over to Holy Island. Breakfast was out of this world. The hosts couldn't do enough for us. more

Despite the horrid weather, the Manor House was warm and welcoming and the hosts were friendly, informative and accommodating. An amazing choice for breakfast - including fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, toast, cooked breakfast or smoked fish, juices and tea or coffee. The owners also have a great knowledge of places to visit in the local area or further afield. No... more

Kate and Mike were absolutely lovely, welcoming people. They knew the area well and were down-to-earth whilst maintaining a lovely B&B. The rooms were extremely clean and well-kept, albeit a bit chintzy (but who cares?!). The breakfast was just right, the full English was not too large and they offered a large selection of yoghurts and cereals too. A downside... more

The Manor House is a beautiful old building, which has kept its olde worlde character. It was immaculate and warm (November). The proprietor, Kate, is a delightful lady who has added dozens of thoughtful touches which will delight visitors.
