Stayed with my wife, as a surprise ~0th Birthday treat. Superb accommodation - stayed in the large downstairs double bedroom. Bathroom was good - lovely shower. Excellent Cooked Breakfast. If you visit Holy Island, have a walk through the dunes to see the golden beach - and keep an eye out for some surprising wildlife. more

Warm atmosphere, fantastic location, great food, the Bamburgh View was an outstanding experience. And for the record, my wife insists that it was the best shower/bathroom layout we experienced on our trip to Britain. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate the needs of my wife's parents and our young children. The rooms... more

1st Class everything at the Bamburgh! They had the best selection of vegetarian sausages of any B&B we've ever stayed at...will be back there for occasional battery-charging nights away! Carole & Jamie were very nice too... more

Stayed 2 nights in the downstairs room. Although it was small it had everything we needed for the stay. The TV had the best reception of any we have seen in hotels/B&B's in the last year. Breakfast was great and set us up for the day nicely. Would definitely recommend. I can only reiterate what everyone has already said. One... more

we only stayed for one night (unfortunately) and only in the downstairs room without the Bamburgh view but that didn't matter at all since everything else was just downright perfect, from the mega-comfortable and large room with ensuite bathroom via the energy-efficient facilities to the fairtrade and organic products offered for breakfast (cooked to perfection by Jamie). We'd always go... more

What a find! we stayed 2 nights and loved; the cleanliness, comfort, welcome, breakfast, shower, organic products, location... everything really. Well done Jamie and Carol, you ticked all the boxes for three fussy females. Hope to return soon! more

Jamie and Carole were terrific hosts to us during our stay on Holy Island. We spent two nights with them and I really wish I could take Jamie home with me so that he could make us breakfast every morning. He is an excellent cook. Our room was comfortable and clean. The shower was, in fact, the best of our... more

We stayed for two nights, the owners are very friendly and the rooms are fantastic. Try to book the room with its own bathroom (it is not ensuite, but the bath and shower are fabulous). Make sure you have the Full English Breakfast, it is superb. more

B and B does not get better than Jamie and Carol's on Holy Island. We have stayed in plenty of B and B's over the years, but are delighted to say we have now been fortunate enough to stay at the best. Jamie and Carol go out of their way to make all aspects of your stay as enjoyable as... more

This lovely bed and breakfast is a fantastic little place on an amazing island. Our room was cosy, but had everything that we needed and more. The view from our window was of the hauntingly beautiful castle, the bed was one of the most comfortable that i have ever slept in and the breakfast was fantastic. Jamie and Carole were... more
